Brief : Amaravati, July 26, 2025 – A one-day national seminar on "Smart Water Management," based on sustainable and modern approaches to water governance, was successfully held on July 26, 2025, at Engineers’ Bhawan, Amaravati. The event was jointly organized by the Indian Water Works Association (IWWA), Amaravati, and The Institution of Engineers (India), Amaravati Local Centre, in collaboration with P. R. Patil College of Architecture, Amaravati.
Inaugural Session
The seminar was inaugurated in the esteemed presence of Hon. Sanjaybhai Khodke, Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Council. In his keynote address, he emphasized the effective use of technology in water conservation and distribution, stating, "Providing clean water to every household is a primary necessity. This can be achieved through mutual cooperation between government agencies and public representatives. With strong willpower, water wastage can be prevented, and quality can be maintained."
